Creepy Halloween Decoration for Punch Bowl

Here's a great way to keep crazy cool at your Halloween Bash -- a freaky fun ice hand in the punch bowl! Adults and kids alike will love it -- it’s so cool it’s scary! 

You’ll earn a lot of high fives by using this fun trick to keep your punch cool for a Halloween party. It’s so easy too. Make a few to keep things cool for hours and as back-ups in case you lose any (frozen) fingers in the process. Plain ice is nice, or use juice to make sure your punch doesn’t get too watered down. Add a few drops of food coloring to really pack a punch!

Supplies

Latex Gloves (non-powdered)
Water or Juice
Liquid measuring cup or small pitcher
Tape
Food Coloring (optional)
Large Ziploc bag or plastic dish (optional)
Freezer
Small knife or scissors

Directions

Rinse out your glove with water. Fill your measuring cup with water or juice -- about one cup.
Add food coloring if desired and mix until blended. Pour liquid into glove, making sure all fingers are full.

Pinch glove at opening and twist to close. Wrap tape around twist and tape down so that no liquid leaks out.

Place glove in larger Ziploc bag to keep your freezer spill free, just in case. You can also place glove in a shallow plastic dish for this purpose.

Freeze until solid and keep in freezer until party time.

Remove hand from freezer.

Carefully pierce the glove with your knife or scissors and peel away from ice hand. You may have to make multiple cuts to get it all off.

Rinse the ice hand with water and plop it in your punch for a festive drink!
