Hit a bulls eye this Valentine's Day with these tropical arrows inspired by that cherub known as Cupid.
The light sweetness of dried mango coupled with the mellow taste of milk chocolate and shavings of coconut make this a Valentine’s Day treat that every Valentine on your list will enjoy.
These edible arrows are also quick and simple to make - the only problem will be in making sure you've made enough to satisfy everyone your list!
10 slices of dried mango
1 cup of dried coconut shavings
1 bag of milk or dark chocolate chips
On a sheet of parchment paper, set out 10 lollipop sticks 2 inches apart, and then melt the chocolate chips in the microwave according the directions on the packet (I had an extra 10 minutes for this recipe, so I opted for the double boil option to ensure even consistency)
Once the chocolate is melted, drizzle a tablespoon of chocolate over each stick and then layer with a slice of Mango, then repeat the process over each mango to ensure that you have a fully coated mango slice.
Before placing in the fridge to set, sprinkle the coconut across the top of each mango slice to ensure that you have an even layer of coconut atop each one.
Allow to set in the fridge for 2-3 hours before serving.
