For the Perfect Pair engagement party we used stamps and acrylic paint to add a pear motif to paper items.
Stamping projects are fun and easy to do. You can use them to stamp paper items or even fabric.
For our projects we decided to use two complementary 'pear' stamps - one larger and one smaller. All you need are a few things to get started.
Supplies
Acrylic paint
Rubber stamps or foam stamps
Small Sponge brush
Directions
You will want to use your sponge brush to paint the acrylic color onto the stamp, instead of dipping it into the paint. Make sure to paint on a thin layer or you will have globs of paint on your finished product.
Stamped Favor Bags

We used small black bags for our favors and stamped it using the larger of the two stamps.Using a light golden yellow paint helps it stand out against the dark bag.
Stamped Couple Trivia Card

We printed out trivia game cards on card stock and used the smaller pear stamp to embellish the top.
For these we painted on the lighter yellow for the pear itself and used a metallic gold for the leaf accent.
Stamped Napkins

For our final pear embellishment, we stamped paper napkins using the smaller stamp. This is a great project you can do for any occasion to help personalize it. Stamping monograms would be another idea to try.
