Cute Little Roses on Cupcakes

Steps:

1. To make your own version of these cupcakes, bake a batch of cupcakes and ice them with frosting.
2. Purchase rose-colored fondant, edible sugar clay, from a baking supply or craft store.
3. Spray a rolling pin and plastic cutting board or your work surface with non-stick spray and roll out the fondant.
4. Use a knife to cut 1/2-inch wide fondant strips that are about 3 inches longs.
5. Roll up the strips like a pinwheel. Use a toothpick to separate to spiral a bit giving it a more natural rose look.
6. Pave the top of your cupcake with the roses.
7. Present your mother with a bouquet of roses and these rose-topped cupcakes on her day.
