Day of the Dead Skull Invitations

Invite your friends to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos with you on November 1 with these easy hand-painted invitations. E-cards are fine, but a handmade, hand-painted sugar skull invite is even better. This is a really easy fun project for the kids that gets their creative juices flowing!

Materials

Blank white skull shaped cards
Markers
Paint
Colored pencils
Crayons

Helpful hint: Certain craft or scrap booking stores sell the  aforementioned, blank, white,  skull cards, in the Halloween or seasonal sections. However, if you can't find a cutout trace a skull on the front of a white sheet of paper.

Directions

Include the appropriate invitation information: who, what, when, where, why, etc.

Decorate your invitations however you choose! Have fun with this crafty invite and decorate each card differently or personalize them for each of your guests! Handmade invites are great, but a personalized, handmade invitation is even better!
