Skewered foods aren't just for BBQ weather! We took this serving idea and incorporated it into our Christmas party. This is an easy Christmas party idea you can create at home.

One reason why barbecue foods are so great is because they're often super easy to eat and enjoy. Skewered foods are some of the best.

Of course, we didn't serve barbecued meats in this style, but instead offered our guests a healthy, hearty and seasonally flavored fruit option.

With a bit of creativity and diy elbow grease, you can add to the flair of your holiday food skewers using this crafty topper idea.

Supplies

Bamboo skewers
Craft paper
Paper punches
Double-sided tape or strong adhesive

Directions

Step 1: Cut craft paper with decorative punches. We used 2 sizes of circles and a heart punch. Adhere the pieces together.

Step 2: Punch a circle for the back of the skewer. Place the skewer between the front and back of the topper and adhere together.

Step 3: Thread fresh fruit on the skewers and place on trays.
