Perhaps it’s because of the classic Christmas move It’s a Wonderful Life, but every time we hear bells chiming at this time of the year, it puts us in the holiday spirit. This year, use this iconic Christmas symbol to add even more cheer to your home.
Jingle bells may come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and designs, but we’re loving the DIY paper approach illustrated here. It brings a bit more nostalgia and vintage Christmas flair to the table, but also keeps decorations budget-friendly, too.

Adding variation to your bell sizes will give you endless possibilities for use - they can be used to add the finishing touch to your wrapping, adorn your holiday table or even hang from the bows of your Christmas tree.
I used scrap-booking paper for this craft, but you can use recycled magazines, cards, card stock or even old cardboard cut-outs. Get creative!
Supplies:
Various sheets of scrap booking paper
Quick drying craft glue
Paper blade or Scissors
Holiday Stickers (optional)
Bells
Ribbon
Directions:
Step 1: Select the crafting paper that fits with your theme, and then cut a semi circle shape to fit the size of the bell you are after – bigger for bigger bells, smaller for smaller bells.

Step 2: Take the semi circle and twist it into a bell shape—wider on the bottom and snug at the top. And then using your quick drying craft glue, glue the semi circle edges together to complete the bell look. And allow the glue to try for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Once dry, apply holiday themed stickers (in this case I also used crystal stickers to give it a dash of sparkle) to your bell.

Step 4: To complete the bell, thread a ribbon with a bell attached through the top of the bell and tie.
