Depending on the activities that you choose to do during your party, many of the items in your giftbags will be made by your guests throughout the duration of the party. For example, having your guests make their own backpacks or play-doh Diego and Dora characters will ensure that each child will leave with a memoir of the party.
Have a Diego and Dora pinata right before the party is over. This is a fun way for children to get involved in an activity, while gathering candy to take home with them at the same time.
Pass out clear canisters from Dylan's Candy Bar filled with the candy of your choosing. Anything sugar related will be always be appreciated by children.
Buy Diego and Dora stickers and place them on the gift bags that you give out to each of your guests. Include something Diego or Dora related inside of the bag, such as a Diego or Dora sippy cup.
For my Diego and Dora party, I set up a table with flip-flops from Old Navy for my guests to pick up as they left the party. (This may be a more expensive option depending on the season, but you can usually get two pairs of flip flops for $5 at Old Navy.)
Buy clear CD cases and burn copies of the Diego and Dora soundtrack that you played during the party. On your computer design Diego and Dora themed CD sleeves that you can slide into each of the CDs that you give to your guests.
A quick and easy option for party favors is to buy pre-made Diego and Dora giftbags that contain Diego and Dora products inside of them. For example, you can buy Diego and Dora key chains, stickers, rubber bracelets, whistles, and games at Celebrate Express.
For my Diego and Dora party, I made each of the girls their own custom Dora The Explorer giftbags with the help of C By Me. They were an instant hit with the girls and allowed them to bring home something run to remember from the party after it was over!
