Get your birthday party guests ready to celebrate as soon as they arrive. This easy DIY balloon wreath is the perfect adornment for your front door and will impress both young and old when they see it.

With some basic supplies, a bit of patience and some strategic placement, you can recreate the look of our balloon wreath at home.

Supplies

400 small balloons
200 floral pins
18 inch straw wreath
curling ribbon

Instructions

Keep the straw wreath in the plastic wrap. Stick two balloons between each floral pin and then push the pin tightly into the wreath; securing the balloons.

Continue pinning balloons all the way around the wreath. You can pin the balloons about 1/2 inch apart--they'll spread out and cover the wreath so you won't see bare spots. Pin balloons to within about 1 inch from the edges and back side of the wreath.

You can add some curling ribbon by tucking small pieces into the floral pin with the balloons. Keep pinning until the wreath is covered.

Make a bow with grosgrain ribbon and attach to the wreath with a floral pin. I hung a small initial in the center of the wreath. I found it in the Christmas ornament section of the craft store.

Hang the festive wreath on the front door to honor the birthday person and greet the party guests as they arrive.
