Add a bit of personalization and customization to your party with a special honoree. I created easy photo frames for my granddaughter's 5th birthday party after being inspired by the birthday invitation I chose to send out from Pear Tree Greetings. It featured a unique tri-fold style and two black and white photos of the birthday girl.
This craft is simple enough to tailor to anyone or any type of celebration.
Supplies
wooden frame
Mod Podge--Matte finish
sponge applicator
x-acto knfe
decorative scrapbook paper
sandpaper
acrylic paint
Directions
Step 1: Paint the back and edges of the frame with acrylic paint, if desired.

Step 2: Cut a piece of scrapbook paper close to the size of the picture frame.
Step 3: With a sponge applicator, apply Mod Podge evenly to the front of the picture frame.

Step 4: Place the decorative paper on the frame and smooth with your hand. Let the paper dry completely.

Step 5: Using an exacto knife, cut out the center and outside edges of the paper.

Step 6: Sand all edges, then insert the photograph and embellish however you'd like. I tied a bow around the frame.
