DIY Hallowen Costume: Owl

Skip the crowded costume shops this Halloween, and opt for an adorable DIY costume instead! You'll not only save a ton, but your child will have a one of a kind costume that they won't be able to wait to show off.

Supplies

black dress
gray tights
decorative artificial leaves
glue gun
scissors
costume eye glasses
Black felt
yellow felt

Directions

Lay black dress down flat.

Glue leaves to bottom of dress for feathery effect.

Make the beak by cutting a 2 1/2" square out of yellow felt and glue 2 corners together.

Glue beak to edge of eye glasses.

Cut 2 triangles out of black felt and glue to eye glasses.

Voila! Your little owl is ready to go.
