DIY Monogrammed Bottles

More Party Ideas

Kids love to see their name on everything and when it's made just for them it makes the occasion for such a display even more special.

We made monogrammed drink bottles using commercial bottles that have the look of the old classic milk bottles from the past to add a touch of fantastical whimsy to our Oogieloves theme party for the kids, but you can use this tutorial on any glass surface.

With just a few supplies, all of which are easily found at the craft store, you can put together a special glass for your kids, too – it’s a great idea to use if you’re trying to encourage a young toddler to use a big kid cup instead of a bottle, too!

Another great container to personalize for kids at a party is a mason jar. They're super trendy right now and come in assorted sizes so they're just as easy to prep ahead of time, transport and have the kids sip from.

Supplies

Frappuccino bottles - emptied, cleaned, and label removed

Directions

Step 1: Apply the monogram to the outside of the bottle following package directions.  Since these are made for "all weather" they will not rub off during condensation, etc.

Step 2: Spray paint the outside of the bottle lid with silver paint so it looks more retro and covers the labeling. Let dry completely.

Step 3: Fill with juice or milk and reapply the lid to serve.
