A cute spring chick made from simple craft supplies serves as a fun holder for paper flag place cards on your Easter table. Pair alongside a chick inspired napkin ring (below).

Supplies

one large yellow pom pom
googly eyes
orange felt
orange chenille stem
yellow feathers
hot glue gun
cardstock
miniature straw wreath

 Directions

1. Using a hot glue gun, attach two googly eyes and an orange felt triangle to one yellow pom pom.

2. Cut two pieces of orange chenille stem approximately 1 1/2 inches long bending about 1/2 inch of one end.

3. Glue pieces to the back of the yellow pom pom with the curved end facing toward the front.

4. Glue 4-5 yellow feathers above the chenille stems.

5. Cut a thin strip of paper from plain cardstock. We also cut inverted triangles in the ends to create a flag look.

6. Write guests name on the paper, place in the chick's legs and set the place card holder in a miniature wreath.
