While brides shouldn't undertake DIY centerpieces lightly when it comes to the wedding, the bridal party needn't worry as much when it comes to the bridal shower centerpieces.
Not only are there fewer tables to create centerpieces for, bridal shower decor can be confronted head on by the entire bridal party, which means if everyone contributes to the production process it gets done in record time.
Working off a particular bridal shower theme makes a centerpiece easier to conceptualize and produce. In our case, we worked with a bright, citrus theme. The idea we had was to create a tall, sophisticated focal point for each table that wasn't overwhelming.

We found some topiaries on clearance, and with a little vision, some beautiful yellow ribbon, a handful of lemons and a new ceramic pot, we created some elegant and classy centerpieces for each of our tables. Adding the yellow tulle to the satin bow also gave the centerpieces a "bridal feel."

We transformed some glass spice jars to add to our bridal shower centerpieces, too. We simply cut some burlap fabric into a strip, applied a little adhesive to the jar to hold it, wrapped it tightly around the jar, and tied it up with a bow.
What we loved about this easy embellishment was the contrast between the natural burlap and the elegant satin ribbon. A simple sprig of ivy from the garden filled the little vases.
All in all a bit of DIY ingenuity led to a pretty centerpiece for our bridal shower tables!
