Serve steamed dumplings or potstickers to your party guests for an unexpected homemade appetizer that looks like it's a fuss, but really couldn't be simpler.
Dumplings are a healthier alternative to the usual fatty party fare, yet still delicious. We like to make ours with chicken, but they can be a mix of veggies, pork or fish, too - whatever you like best!
Whichever recipe you opt to serve, try serving your dumplings with this simple sauce.
Ingredients
4 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon Chinese red rice vinegar (not red wine vinegar)
2 teaspoon ginger, minced
2 teaspoon fresh cilantro leaves, chopped (you can replace with chopped green onion, if you like)
Directions
Combine all of your ingredients into a bowl. Whisk together and serve alongside your dumplings.
