Easy Eyeball Cupcakes

Halloween cupcakes are must and you can go eye-to-eye with these easy eyeball cupcakes! The extra time it takes to decorate these eyeball cupcakes is well worth it once you see the final product. Just wait until your friends and family take a look at these eerie peepers!

Ingredients

1 boxed cake mix (any flavor), prepared as cupcakes, cooked and cooled
1 can vanilla frosting
Red food coloring
Gummy Savers candies
Brown or black chocolate-coated candies
Sandwich baggie or pastry bag fitted with small round tip

Directions

Prepare cupcakes as directed on package, OR try making them as Soda Cupcakes.

Take 2-3 tablespoons of vanilla frosting and place in a small bowl. Set aside.

Frost cooled cupcakes with remaining vanilla frosting.

Place one gummy saver candy in center of cupcake and top with one chocolate-coated candy.

Take the small bowl of reserved frosting and add red food coloring until desired shade of red is achieved.

Place red frosting into the bottom corner of a sandwich baggie (or pastry bag) and snip a very small tip off of the corner of it.

Pipe wavy lines away from the pupil, creating the look of bloodshot eyes.
