Easy Green St. Patty's Day Centerpiece

Bring the rolling hills of Ireland to life in an evergreen centrepiece that uses repotted plants to brighten your party space. The light green nods to the shades of our invitations, and helps tie the party and the holiday together. 

There are a number of stunning white flowers and evergreen foliage that would create a stylish floral display for your next St. Pattys Day party. However, incorporating a living arrangement that can be used after the party is a great way to keep the memory of the party alive long after your guests leave. 

Keeping the centrepieces low means you can have several of them dotted across the table without taking away from the fun of the drinks your guests will be reaching for throughout the night.

Festive embellishments, like the leprechaun hats we use add sparkle and thematic flair without getting to fussy for such a casual celebration.

Supplies

Shallow clear glass bowls
Ever green ground cover or miniature shrubs
Candles
Leprechaun Hats

Directions

Step 1: Lay a towel or gardening sheet on your potting table and gently remove the foliage from the container, taking care not to rip the roots. 

Step 2: Once they're safely removed, arrange the plants in your glass bowl until they are securely fitted and fill the bowl to capacity. 

Step 3: Once you finish potting the plants, gently water them to ensure they are moist before adding your candles to the centre of the bowl. Finish by accenting with miniature Leprechaun.

NOTE: If incorporating candles as I did, you may want to consider placing a glass container around the wicks to avoid any unwanted sparks from flying.
