Easy Margarita Fruit Dip Recipe

Delicious dip recipes needn't be laden with fatty creams or other heavy ingredients. This margarita-inspired dip is a feast for your eyes, palate and stomach all at once. It's bright color, whipped topping, citrus garnish and sweet and sour taste make it a summertime dip recipe we can't resist saying yes to! It's also one of the simplest dips we've ever tried preparing, so give it a chance and we bet it becomes a staple at your summer parties!

Ingredients:

1 (8 ounce) package light cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup non-alcoholic liquid margarita mix

2 drops green food coloring, optional

1-1/2 cups light whipped topping

Lime wedges for decoration

Directions:      

Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Next, add in your margarita mix and green food coloring (if desired) and blend until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Decorate with lime wedges.

Serve alongside fresh fruit, graham crackers, or pretzels.
