Kindergarten graduations are as much for the parents as they are for the little graduates. If hosting a small celebration at home or even at school, it’s important to consider this fact when planning.
Here at Celebrations, we’re always saying how important an invitation is – not only does it convey all the pertinent information for guests, it’s also a stage-setter. Guests will understand from an invitation what to expect from a party.
For a kindergarten graduation you could go with a more formal paper invite, but taking the kids, who are the guests of honor, into account, why not get a bit more creative?
We found these great business card holders over at MyMMs.com while customizing our MMs for our party. Instead of sliding a business card in there though, we thought, why not send out our invitation this way?
The cost for the holders pretty much equated to the same as we’d spend on the same count of paper invitations, but these came with customized sweets that clearly communicated the fun that would be had at our celebration.
Our little graduates LOVED this invitation, and the parents were impressed, too.
Trace your business card onto cardstock. Create as many templates as you need, and then cut them out.
Keeping it simple and a bit DIY, we wrote down all our party information on the back of the cardstock and embellished with red, blue and yellow markers.
If you’re looking to make your invitations a bit more formal, you can easily design a custom look in your computer’s word program using a business card template, then print out and pop in the containers.
When you've got your cards together, add them to the case with your M&Ms.
Be sure when ordering your holders to get creative with your M&Ms, too! Ours were decorated with grad caps and “class of 2012” written on them.
