Mom will be tickled pink with this fun and easy handmade lotion. This project is perfect for the novice lotion maker. You can make your lotion delicate rose or shocking pink in color. Then, fragrance the lotion with baby rose fragrance oil and label the bottles with your own custom labels (or click the link below for free lotion labels).

Directions

  • Ingredients:
    16 ounces of Lotion
    (8) 2oz. clear plastic bottles w/ white caps
    1/2 oz. diluted Fuschia labcolor
    1 Dropper
1/2 oz Baby Rose Fragrance Oil
    Labels

  • Fill the 2 oz. bottle half way with lotion
  • Add 1 ml of fragrance and 1 drop of the color to start. Shake it up really well.
  • Add more lotion leaving a little head space and shake again. Put on the cap and you are done!
  • Alternatively, you can pour all of the lotion into a bowl and add 6 ml of the fragrance and as much color as you desire. Mix it up and then place in a zip top baggie. Snip one small corner off the bag and squeeze into the 2 ounce bottles. Please note: the bowl and utensils you use for mixing should be reserved for crafting and not used for food preparation.
