Give something green to your guests at your next spring party.

These tiny treasures are the perfect party favor for continuing your Earth-friendly party theme. They are the perfect garden friendly party favor, doubling as both a fun family activity and an original eco-parting gift that will keep the memory of your party going long after your guests say good bye.

My 3 year old helped me fill these Earth-friendly miniature pots with spring bulbs that can be planted directly into the soil, giving our guests a simple, no green-thumb required, gardening activity to enjoy after the party.

We tied them with recycled orange ribbon to hint at what lies beneath the soil.

Supplies

Bag of bulbs
A spool of recycled paper ribbon
Scissors for cutting the ribbon
Potting soil
Biodegradable paper potting cups

Directions

Step 1: Remove the packaging from the bulbs and potting cups and place a handful of soil into each cup before placing a bulb half way down.

Step 2: Cover bulb with potting soil and moisten the top with a splash of water, taking care not to saturate the pot, only moisten the soil.

Step 3: Tie you recycled ribbon around the pot and tie with a bow.
