As pretty as Easter eggs are, sometimes the dyeing process isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Here's a craft project that'll cut the muss and fuss out of your holiday and leave with you with some pretty little eggs that'll last much longer than their shelled counterparts.
For the eggs you'll need one pack of scalloped paper ovals and bits of decorating odds and ends you can get your hands on—stickers work nicely, but you can draw on shapes or add glitter for a more homemade look.
1. Allow the paper oval to be your basic egg shape, and choose your embellishments according to the card color or go crazy by mixing and matching shapes and colors.

2. Place embelishments in patterns all over the egg or overlap for for a blended effect.

3. Glue scraps of fabric or wrap lengths of string or ribbon around egg for a three-dimensional efect.

4. Finished eggs can be used as festive table settings or strung on fishing line from ceilings, doorways or even tree branches!
