Every country has its own version of mulled wine, I learned to make this while living in London and it has been my go-to winter cocktail ever since. Not only does it make the house smell amazing, it tastes so delicious that you will wish you had made more. Try this delicious cocktail recipe to warm up the cold nights.

Ingredients

2 bottles dry red wine
4 ounces brandy
1 pint of orange juice
10 whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
1 large pinch of ground nutmeg
2 large orange cut into slices
1 pear diced
1 apple diced

Directions

Add all the ingredients into a large pot or slow-cooker, and then simmer on low heat for an hour before, taking time to stir occasionally to ensure the mixture is well blended.

Once warmed, serve in a glass garnished with a cinnamon stick.
