Extreme Grilled Peanut Butter Sandwich

I'm sure you've heard of the Elvis. You know, that sandwich made famous by the King of Rock n' Roll? A grilled peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich, the Elvis is pretty extreme when it comes to lunch, but guess what? We took it even further!

As much as we love bacon, we decided to take a sweeter approach to the sandwich and came up with:

A grilled peanut butter, chocolate, marshmallow and banana sandwich.

While we took this sandwich to a somewhat obscene level, the flavor combination really worked well and we'd definitely recommend making one of these epic sandwiches if the opportunity ever arises.

Known for their clever peanut butter sandwiches, Peanut Butter & Co. really inspired this creative brainstorm at lunch today - we got our hands on their Smooth Operator spread - which meant we had to have some peanut butter fun with it!

Ingredients:

2 slices of bread

Peanut Butter & Co.'s Smooth Operator Peanut Butter

Chocolate Morsels

Marshmallow Spread

1 Banana, sliced

Butter to grill

Directions:

Spread your peanut butter on your bread - both sides!

Top one slice with banana slices and marshmallow spread, the other with chocolate morsels.

Carefully bring the two sides together and grill in a frying pan on medium heat.

Enjoy - and try not to make too big a mess!
