Since there will be an array of costumes at this family-friendly Halloween costume party, we want the party space to reflect that and be a bit more eclectic in its design, but we also want it to tie our bigger mummy theme in cohesively.
For our Halloween celebration we sent out the Mummy Wrap invitation we found over at Pear Tree Greetings. It's not only a cute Halloween invitation that's family-friendly, it's also the perfect invite for our family's costumes this year! The cute mummy design allowed us to get creative with a Monster Mash party but put the real emphasis on our favorite monster.
For our main focus, we used the festive orange and green colors on the back of our invitation to inspire our buffet table. An eclectic mix of Halloween dishes added to create a kid-friendly buffet that will fuel them for their walk around the neighborhood, but will also keep hungry parents happy, too!
Table cloths in classic colors of orange and black make a great base for our more colorful collection of themed dishes. Our festive food is placed on the table for little goblins to help themselves, so no other centerpiece is needed.
Add some height and interest by using a pillar candle holder to raise dishes that are harder to get to. You can also add printable circles from Love the Day to bring pops of interest.
Science beakers are the perfect drink holders and look super creepy with our green punch inside. We tied on our printable circles to add even more detail to each one.
Vampire teeth get a new use as napkin rings on our table. No doubt the kids will be putting these in their mouth in no time.
Add even more atmosphere to your party by playing spooky Halloween music in the background. Pop in a cd or download tunes from your computer.
