For a splash of style and color to your table, visit your local green market and select terrific seasonal produce such as apples, pears, squashes, gourds, pumpkins and chestnuts.
Take a few different sized clear vases and fill them each with the beautiful fresh produce. The warm colors will illuminate any table.
Mini-pumpkins are ideal for votive candle holders, too.
For an exceptional touch, place a few fall leaves inside the vases around the fruits or under clear glass plates at each setting. You could even use larger fig leaves for silverware settings.
