4th of July Firecracker Crafts for Children

Re-purpose unused birthday party hats into these easy-to-make firecracker hats with the addition of a few sparkly and patriotic accessories.

Supplies

party hats (red, blue, silver or gold work best with the firecracker theme)
wired star garland
scissors
tape

Directions

Trim inch off the top of each hat.
Insert pieces of star garland into the hole at the top. Tape the garland inside the hat to secure.
Decorate the hat as desired. Use foil star stickers, glitter and other embellishments to add patriotic flair.
