Rather than frying in oil, we opt to grill our spicy sweet chicken wings in this appetizer recipe. Though still packed with that taste we love, grilling gives these wings a crunch without all the extra calories frying produces.
Ingredients
4 pounds chicken wings, approximately 24 - 30
Marinade
1 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
2 tablespoons hot chili powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoon Tabasco
1 teaspoon salt
Ground pepper to taste
Directions
Combine marinade ingredients together and mix very well in a large bowl. In an extra large Ziploc bag, place the chicken wings and add marinade over top.
Be sure to coat all chicken wings and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight before grilling.
When ready, remove wings from the bag with tongs and lie face down on a hot grill. Cook on one side for 2 - 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes or until cooked through.
