Fish sticks were a staple TV dinner in the 60s and still remain popular today. Kids love them for their fun shapes and mild flavor; adults love them because they are quick and packed with protein. Serve this modern twist at your 1960s TV Dinner Party.
Ingredients
1 box of fish sticks
1 package of soft shell tacos
1 whole Jalapeno (finely chopped)
2 whole tomatoes (coarsely chopped)
1/2 package of shredded cabbage
1 whole lime (juiced)
1/2 cup mayonaisse
1/2 cup sour cream
1/3 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions
Combine sour cream, mayo, cilantro, jalepeno and lime juice. Mix together until smooth.
After microwaving fish sticks, place them in a hot skillet with the vegetable oil.
Fry for 3 minutes, or until crispy. Cut the fish sticks into bite size pieces.
Fill taco shells with fish sticks. Top with tomatoes, cabbage and sour cream mixture.
Serve hot!
