Flip cups is a standard drinking game played on college campuses where two teams race to drink and flip their cups, but you don't have to be in college to play this fun game.
To make it interesting for tailgating, have fans of opposing teams compete against each other, and use plastic cups in team colors. If you are playing this on a college campus, make sure to follow school regulations regarding alcohol on game days.
Supplies
One cup for each player
A long table
Beer
Directions
Divide into two teams. Each team stands on one side of the table and faces the other.
Place a cup in front of each player and fill 1/4 - 1/3 cup full.
To start the game, the first player of each team drinks his beer and places the top of the cup facing down on the table. The player must attempt to flip the cup so that it lands facing right side up.
After the cup lands right side up, the game continues with the next player who repeats the process -- drink and flip.
The first team with all players to successfully drink and flip their cups wins the game.
