Four Corners Iced Tea Cocktail

We came up with this patriotic cocktail recipe while traveling to the four corners in the Southwestern United States (southwestern corner of Colorado, northwestern corner of New Mexico, northeastern corner of Arizona and the southeastern corner of Utah).

We liked it so much that we gave it a name in honor of this region and serve it every 4th of July party now.

Nothing like the east coast version, this cocktail is made from real iced tea, and is just as delicious served as a mocktail or a cocktail.

Ingredients:

2 Ounces of Black Tea

1 Ounce of 7-up

2 Ounces of Vodka (for the cocktail version)

1 Teaspoon of fresh Lemon Juice

Ice

1 Feijoa or Star Fruit for garnish

Directions:

After brewing your black tea, allow it to cool, and then muddle it with the 7up, lemon juice and vodka if you are making the cocktail.

Pour your mixture over ice and garnish with a Feijoa (as shown) or a star fruit to give it a hint of fruit.
