Fireworks are synonymous with the 4th of July. As little kids we loved watching the bright pops of color in the night sky, feeling the light of them flash across our face, and smelling the musky air after the show was over.

Now that we're big kids, we still love fireworks. So, when we decided we wanted to put together a casual celebration for the 4th of July this year we were immediately drawn to the Sparkle in the Sky 4th of July party invitation from Pear Tree Greetings.

The combination of the flowing fourth script, tailored blue ribbons, and of course, retro firework design were enough to make our brains go haywire with party ideas.

Since we love spending our night kicking back with the family and enjoying the real show, we thought, what a great idea it'd be to have the girls over for a relaxing brunch earlier in the day?

So, we sent out our lovely party invitations and got crazy planning a Fourth of July brunch using the designs on the invitation that so captivated us. Check out all the yummy 4th of July recipes, decor ideas and tips from our festive Fourth of July party.
