This month we're falling in love all over again -- with glitter!
As kids we crafted like crazy with glitter, but as adults it was hard to get excited for the stuff since it always seemed to come with a mess to clean up. After seeing how big glitter has grown as a trend though, and all the fun you really can have with it, we decided it was time to fall back in love with the sparkly dust.
Our Glitter Party Celebrate Crate is stuffed with glitter and a couple of extra tools you need to get creative with it. In addition, we've discovered a great technique to use glitter without all the fuss and mess.
Check out all the tools and ideas from this sparkly Celebrate Crate and tell us how you plan to glitterize your life!
Haven't purchased yours yet? Don't wait! There are still Glitter Party Crates available at our Celebrate Crate store.
You can have some glitter fun this month thanks to these cool products we've packed into our Glitter Party Celebrate Crate:
American Crafts 8-pk Glitter Set
Glitter isn't just for crafts anymore! We discovered this edible star glitter and had so much fun with it we had to pack a container in each Crate.
After dipping an assortment of treats into chocolate, we sprinkled with glitter to achieve a real sparkle. For cocktails, we rimmed glasses and also made some yummy Champagne Jell-O shots with the stars mixed in.
Check out all our edible glitter party ideas!
Edible glitter isn't the only way to add sparkle to treats, though. Mini treat toppers are a huge trend and these gold glitter cupcake flags from Penelope & La La are almost too cute for words. We're such fans of this little shop and all their handmade creations!
When we first started playing with our glitter set from American Crafts we used the traditional apply Mod Podge, cover in glitter approach on a couple of martini glasses' bases and a piece of cardstock we slipped into a frame for an easy and inexpensive party decoration.
Then we discovered if we combined the glitter with the Mod Podge glue we had a real winning combo on hand! There was no stopping us from glitterizing everything we possibly could once we mixed the two and created Mod Podge glitter paint.
We turned glass mason jars into glitzy vases...
And candles into extra sparkly decor!
