Glittered Valentine's Day Picture

Martha Stewart recently featured a beautiful, unique way to glitter paint' a picture by numbers. You can use the glitter painting technique to embellish one small part of a picture, or to cover the entire thing in glitter for a super sparkly effect.

Supplies:

- Glitter in the colors you need for your picture
- Glitter glue
- Wood mount for the picture
- A picture to use

Instructions:

1. Begin by choosing a picture you want to glitter. Ideas include a picture of you together, her pet, a favorite celebrity or icon, a place you want to visit, or her favorite baked good.

2. Use the Martha Stewart photo converter tool which will break down the colors in your picture and come up with a list of glitter colors you need to complete the painting.

3. Print out the color converted picture, cut to size and glue onto the wood mount.

4. Start glittering in the colors to match the picture. Don't be afraid to blend colors to get the right shade. If you make a mistake, you can always add more glue and re-glitter.
