Gothic Glam Halloween Party Decor

Just because you're hosting a Halloween party for the girls with appetizers and cocktails doesn't mean you can set a beautiful table!

Ladies love to sit and chat and our gothic-glam setting is inviting enough to keep them happy for hours.

Creating a gothic glam table for a ladies night gathering was easy after being inspired by the skull imagery found in our Round and Round the Skulls Halloween invitation from Pear Tree Greetings. We used a dark color scheme of black and purple and added touches of lace to transform the table.

Each place setting is designed with layers to add drama and interest.

Clear glass plates allow a purple doily and skull coaster to shine through against a backdrop of black chargers. We were lucky enough to find the skull coasters for $1 and they matched our theme and invitation perfectly.

Name cards were made with some very simple items from the craft store. Tiny frames for $1, a piece of scrapbook paper that is double sided, and a small pack of Halloween adhesive embellishments is all it took to make these.

It's fun to dress up glass ware with themed embellishments. We used adhesive gemstone spider webs and spiders to attach to the side of the glass. These are much easier to use than stickers as they come off without leaving any residue behind.

The centerpiece of the table also gets dressed up. We created a vignette of hauntingly haute objects that came together to create one WOW focal point. At the center of it all, our DIY haunted book decorations - these guys were super easy to make and added levels of interest.

Finally, we took our skull motif from our invitations and spray painted a tiny skull white, and added two purple adhesive gems for eyes. We placed it under a mini cloche and added more bling with a gemstones spider.
