When mixing this potent glaze, it may seem like the liquor bottle accidentally spilled on the corn. Never fear, the liqueur mellows as the corn cooks into a light coating with a just a trace of orange.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 Cup Grand Marnier liqueur
  • 1/4 Cup brown sugar
  • 6 ears corn on the cob, shucked

Directions

  • Preheat grill. Stir together butter, liqueur, and brown sugar in a small bowl until sugar dissolves. Brush butter mixture on corn and wrap ear in aluminum foil. Cook for 30 minutes, turning occasionally, on grill over medium coals. Unwrap corn and arrange on a large platter or have guests serve themselves using tongs right off the grill.
