Nothing satisfies a pre game kick off quite like chocolate, and these dessert bars are so easy to make, you will find yourself making them even when football is not in season.
Just remember to keep them on ice, homemade chocolate is meant to melt in your mouth, and on your hands.
Ingredients
1 bag of Hershey’s semi sweet milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 tablespoon of honey
2 cups of small marshmallows
2 cups of walnuts
Directions
Fill a medium saucepan halfway with water and bring to a rolling boil.
Top the saucepan with a glass mixing bowl large enough to rest on top.
Then add chocolate chips, butter, and honey to the bowl and mix until melted. The melted mixture will be thick and mouse like.
Remove from heat and add the nuts and marshmallows to the chocolate.
Gently fold until fully mixed and dough like.
Place your mixture onto a sheet of wax papper, taking care to spread it out evenly across the surface.
Place in the refrigerator to set, and then chop into small bite site bars.
