Grilled Cheese with Bacon and Pears

I love grilled cheese! Who doesn't? We bake our own mini breads to jazz them up, but you can easily cut off the ends and go to town with a small cookie cutter.

Try Grilled Asiago cheese with Ham and sliced Pickle or traditional American with Tomato and Bacon. Or how about Mozzarella with Prosciutto and Basil? Delicious!

Ingredients

White Bread
Bacon (cooked)
Sliced pear
Sharp cheddar
Butter (soft)

Directions

Heat a frying pan. Spread butter over the top of the sandwich. Place the sandwich top side down (butter side down) on the hot pan. Butter the exposed side of the sandwich.

Turn over and apply pressure by pressing the sandwich down with a spatula. Let cook until golden brown and cheese is melted. Let cool slightly, then cut out shapes with a mini cookie cutter.
