Grilled PB&J

More Party Ideas

Prepare this fun twist on the traditional PB&J. Whether you make it for the kids on the barbecue after a morning in the pool or as a quick, unexpected lunch or dinner by frying in a pan, they're sure to love it.

While you can use any bread, peanut butter and toppings for your sandwich, the version below is our absolute favorite way to enjoy this lunch.

Ingredients

8 Thin Slices Fresh Baguette
4 Tbsp Jiffy Peanut Butter
3 Tbsp Raspberry Jam
2 Whole Bananas
2 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Butter

Directions

Heat a large frying pan or George Foreman Grill, or get your BBQ grill heated up - you don't want the flame too high.

Butter the outter sides of each slice of the baguette that you'll be using for your sandwich.

Evenly distribute peanut butter on the other side of one of the bread slices, then, evenly distribute raspberry jam and honey on the other bread slice's side.

Thinly slice the bananas and add to bread slice with the peanut butter on it.

Take each peanut butter and banana bread slice and top them with each raspberry jam and honey bread slice. You should have four sandwiches in total.

Grill all four sandwiches "grilled cheese style," making the bread crispy on the outside. The middle should be warm and gooey.
