Our On the Board invitation from Pear Tree Greetings didn't just inspire the look of our celebration - it gave us another great idea for a party game.
With the help of the internet, we gathered some high school graduation pictures from the yearbooks of some rather famous people. We included a brief description of the clubs they belonged to and the schools they graduated from. Of course, we included our own famous graduate with a brief bio of her accomplishments.
Guests had a great time trying to the guess the identity of the famous grads.
Game Prep
Come up with 10 celebrities you know your group of guests will be familiar with, but who are old enough to have graduated high school.
Find their high school graduation photos through Google. Then, look up a couple of helpful hints to guide your guests in their guesses. You want these to be helpful, but not so obvious they'll reveal the answer easily.
Once you've got your photos and facts, create a word document on your computer with the photos and corresponding facts.
Print off as many as you need.
How to Play
Pass around copies of your "Guess the Grad" photo map. We kept ours to one page, but you may want to do two pages, one with photos and the other with corresponding descriptions.
Give guests a time frame in which to jot down their answers in pen beneath each photo.
Once everyone has completed their guess work, announce the answers. Whoever guessed the most correct, wins.
