While Halloween isn't a holiday at all lacking in the fun department, we think it's a great idea to have some spooky games ready for your party. Below, we've rounded up our favorite ways to entertain Halloween party guests of all ages. These Halloween party games are particularly great for family or kid-only parties.
If you're looking for something more grown up, check out our Halloween Drinking Games.
Sweets in the Dark
No Halloween party is complete without way too much Halloween candy – chocolate bars, fruit chews, caramels, you name it. Take advantage of the candy selection and use it for one of our favorite Halloween party games, "Sweets in the Dark".
Directions
Blindfold two players, and give them each a piece of candy to taste. Don’t give them the same candy or flavor, otherwise you’ll have to cover their ears, too!
Tell the players to identify either the type of candy bar or the color/flavor, if it’s fruit candy.
The first player to get it wrong is out, and a new player takes her place. The first player to get five in a row correct wins.
Game Tips
Cut “fun size” chocolate bars into smaller pieces to tasting.
Allow players to clean their palates with a saltine cracker and water or beer between tastings.
Make things interesting by adding some extreme candies in the mix, such as super sour or hot candy.
Mummy Wrap Race Halloween Party Game
Mummies are some of the more notorious mascots and this Halloween party game lets you bring one (or even a few!) back to life with help from your guests.

The best thing about Mummy Wrap is that it's a party game that is fun for everyone, adults included. You'll need 3-4 rolls of toilet paper per team, a clock or timer to keep track of the 5 minute play time.
Directions
Divide your players into teams of 3-5 people. Give them each 3-4 rolls of
toilet paper and set a time for 5 minutes.
Each team decides who the mummy will be, and the remaining players are responsible for creating the mummy.
The mummy stands still while their teammates unroll each roll of toilet paper over them in the 5 minutes of play.
The team who finishes their toilet paper first wins!
Alternative Rules
For older players, host a mummy fashion show and decide who the best mummy is, but be sure to supply them with plenty of arts and crafts to dress up their toilet paper mummy.
Gross Grab Bag Halloween Party Game
Part of the joy for any Halloween party-goer is to reach into the unknown, test
their fear and come out with something delightful at the end.

This children's Halloween party game is perfect for the younger crowd still interested in the disgusting and looking for an alternative to candy. Gather 'round the kids and play this fun game!
What You'll Need
An assortment of small toys
Plastic Wrap
Jell-O
A large bowl or bucket
Blind Fold
Directions
Wrap the small toys or prizes in cling film to prevent them from getting
damaged while they are hiding in the Jell-O.
Fill a bowl or bucket with Jell-o and place the small toys inside, taking
care to hide them deep in the Jell-o.
Blindfold the player so they do not see what they are sticking their hand
into, spin them around and ask them to reach in and take out a prize.
