Without doubt our big Halloween decoration this year is our pumpkin keg. Is any fall party, let alone Halloween, complete without it? This pumpkin keg is functional, fun and festive - what more could you ask for?

By day they might just look like ordinary pumpkins, but at night, they'll emit a truly eerie glow if you paint them with glow in the dark paint. It's easy to do!

Skip the carving and go with a silhouette design for your pumpkins. We love this idea Vanessa had to put her family's silhouettes on display!

Crayons aren't just for drawing - melt them the way Jenny did to add lots of funky color to your pumpkin decorations. Even better? Add some glitter while you're at it, too!

For an even more dramatic look, paint your pumpkin with black paint, and then drizzle red paint randomly along the sides. It'll create what we like to call our "vampy" pumpkin look, complete with deep blood red roses in the center.

Another great idea? Etch a face into your pumpkin then use it to display flowers the same way you would with a vase for an instantly festive Halloween centerpiece.

Metallic trinkets are a crafty and chic way to dress up pumpkins for Halloween. We love the look of assorted metallics on all white pumpkins.
