Halloween Treasure Hunt

This Halloween, keep your kids occupied by setting up an epic Halloween Treasure Hunt.  You'll need to pick out a few different hiding spots (see below for suggestions) and come up with an awesome treasure--perhaps an early Christmas present like a coveted game or toy, or a coupon book of prizes (like "gets to select music on next road trip," "gets to stay an extra 15 minutes in any store he/she wants," "sleepover party with 10 friends," etc.)

Copy the clues below onto individual notecards or colorful strips of paper, filling in the blanks with locations in your own home and yard.  Then hide the clues, saving the first one to present to your happy hunters.

Happy Halloween To You! Get your glo-sticks to look for the clues, and don't get scared when the ghosts go Boo!

Are you ready to go outside the front door? Sitting on _____ is Clue #4

To the back yard we go, under the ____, let's all look alive as we find Clue #5

Clue #6 is under ______ in the front yard. Don't worry about finding it as it really won't be hard!

Are you getting tired yet? Clue #7 is under _______. Be careful when you look so you don't bonk your head!

Finally, you must find the treasure itself, but first you must pass through the witches and ghosts!
