Handmade Valentines

Combine the magic of Valentine's Day with your child's love of art by choosing some fun and festive craft ideas for them to make. The right craft can even be used to decorate your home and add some Valentine's Day festive-ness to the room! Let them know you'll be displaying their works of art around the home, and they will be anxious to show you what little artists they are.

This year, add their handmade Valentine's to your keepsake box. You give them the paper and embellishments, and they'll give you a heart-felt card you just can't wait to display.

Supplies

Blank Cards with matching envelopes
Valentine themed paper
Embellishments like stickers, doilies, and glitter
Glue stick
Markers

Directions

Prepare a craft station for your little one with the blank cards, paper, glue and embellishments on hand.

Be sure to tell them to write their message on the card first since it will be harder to write after you glue your embellishments.

Then, let them decorate using glitter, sparkles, or any other embellishments you have provided.

Let dry.
