Handprint Butterflies are fun and easy for even the littlest crafter. Older crafters can make them as intricate as they like. This craft is a great way to welcome spring and all the butterflies fluttering around you in the warmer months.
Supplies
Markers, Crayons or Colored Pencils
Construction Paper
Card Stock
Glue
Scissors
Black Pipe Cleaner
Directions
Keeping your fingers together, trace four times around your hand and cut out.
Draw a butterfly body or go to http://tinyurl.com/lqdsus and click on printables for a pattern. Cut out.
Glue the hand cut-outs behind the body as wings.
Decorate. We traced around lids and spools to make a bunch of circles and glued to the wings to decorate.
Fold a pipe cleaner in half. Curl the ends to shape like antennae. glue behind the butterfly's head.
