Hawaiian Luau Party Favors

We used the floral paper from the Pear Tree invitation we sent out to create a party favor to match the theme and decor of our Hawaiian luau.

Supplies

Clear cellophane bags (2 1/2 X 9 3/4 inch)
Floral paper
Plain colored cardstock
Stapler
Adhesive

Directions

Cut plain paper into 2 1/2 inch X 4 inch pieces; floral paper into 2 1/2 inch X 3 1/2 inches.

Fill a cellophane bag with tropical trail mix (or candies) to about 1 1/2 inches from the top.

Trim the short edges of the plain paper with decorative scissors. Fold paper in half.

Fold the top of the cellophane bag down, slip the plain paper over the top of the bag and staple. 

Finally, crease the floral piece of paper in the middle, apply adhesive to the back and then slip over the plain piece of paper, hiding the staples.
