Set up

Find an area in your home or yard with a good, open space for the limbo game.

Play fun tropical luau music to get your guests into the party mood.

How to play

Set up the limbo stick, or simply use a bamboo pole held by two guests on either end.

Have all your guests line up in one big conga line, and invite them to try shimmying under the limbo stick one at a time.

After everyone has gone under the pole once, have the two pole holders lower the stick a few inches so guests can try to go even lower. Repeat until you find out how low they can go.

Hula Hoop Contest

Equipment

Two hula hoops

How to play

Have guests duel it out in pairs to see who can keep the hula hoop up the longest.

Give the two best hula hoopers the hula hoops to take home as their prize, and kill two birds with one stone!

Hawaiian Pig Pinata

Equipment

Pig or Pineapple Pinata (store brought to keep things simple!)

How to play

Invite luau guests to take any residual stress out on the paper mache decoration until the candy bursts out!

Tackiest Hawaiian Shirt Contest

Equipment

Guests to come dressed! Make sure you note on your invitation to dress approrpriately!

How to Play

Announce the contest by asking guests to come dressed in their tackiest Hawaiian shirt, with the tackiest shirt wearer taking home a special prize.

Put shirts to an anonymous vote and tally up points after dinner.
