Homemade Spicy Guacamole

Homemade guacamole isn't hard to make. Generally, it's cheaper and healthier, too, since you control what goes into the mix. This recipe is on the spicier side and perfect for dipping while watching a game with friends.

Ingredients

Four ripe avocados
Juice from 2 small limes
Half Tablespoon garlic powder
Half Tablespoon chili pepper
Half a chopped red onion
Four seeded cherry tomatoes, chopped
Half Tablespoon Louisiana Hot Sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
For extra spicy, add half a chopped chipotle pepper

Directions

Halve and empty contents of avocados into a large bowl; use fork to mash into chunks

Add garlic powder and chili pepper, mix well

Fold in onion, tomatoes, and chipotle pepper (if using)

Mix hot sauce and lime juice together; add to guacamole and mix well

Salt and pepper to taste and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving
