Tea parties are popular for so many occasions - everything from bridal showers to kids birthday parties. While we definitely expect you to serve actual hot tea at your tea party, it's possible that not everyone will want to drink hot tea or that moms will want their kiddos drinking too much of the caffeinated hot stuff.
As an alternative to the hot kind, it's a good idea to have iced tea and even flavored waters or juice available.
A bit more unexpected than most iced teas, this drink recipe gets a flavor boost from pomegranate soda. You can always use this recipe as a guide and experiment with most any fruit flavored soda to add a fizzy texture to the drink.
6 ounces prepared, lightly sweetened iced tea, decaffeinated optional
2-3 ounces Pomegranate flavored soda
Combine your drink ingredients in a glass with ice and enjoy. You can make ahead of time and in a larger batch for larger parties, too!
