More Party Ideas

Popcorn is the perfect snack to whip up for any get together. Though it's commonly called the must-have movie night treat, I really love customizing popcorn to fit any party I throw. For a tailgate, where spicy food abounds, I make a batch of popcorn to fit the bill.

If you decide to either make your own fresh popcorn, or use a bag of popcorn, it still only takes minutes to make this spicy popcorn. Add a few different spices to your popcorn and you’ve just made a tasty, spicy snack that's a whole lot healthier than the usual chips and dip!

Ingredients:

4 cups plain, Popped

4 tablespoons Salted Butter, Melted

2 tablespoon Chili Powder

1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper

1 tablespoon Chili Flakes

Salt and Pepper, to Taste

Directions:

Place the popcorn in a bowl and pour the melted butter on top; toss to coat. Add the chili powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, salt and pepper, and toss to combine.  Place in a bowl to serve immediately or in a container to serve later.

Makes:

4 cups
